Skyrim Editor Milestone 3: Initial Combat

With some of the horror stories I've heard about how hard the engine is to use, I was originally under the assumption I should split up my milestones very carefully. However, after tinkering with the AI for a little while, I'm very confident I'll be able to get some good work out of it.

The enemy stats scale with your character, you can individually set their difficulty without specifying little details like health and strength, and the nav mesh (while a bit messy) is fairly straightforward. I managed to get enemies patrolling, changing their line-of-sight, and seeing what I liked and didn't.

With all the extra time I had, I was able to go back and really clean up the ship's blockout. It still isn't fully set designed, but I'm much happier with its shape than I was before. Now that I know how AI implementation is going to work, I do think I will work on set design the next few milestones before I finish up with combat. Looking forward to seeing it!
