With the game completed, the only thing left to do is add achievements. I thought I'd have more time, but with every little detail I wanted to add and fixing all the playtesting feedback, we're really reaching the zeroth hour. That's alright, though. I've had a decent idea in mind of what achievements I'd want to put in anyway, and most of them should be relatively easy to implement. Today was mostly just finalizing which ones I want and making the Steam art for them.

It slipped my mind that I wouldn't be able to make a trailer without all of the audio implemented, and now with the game finished I have everything I need to make one. It's a brief pause on the achievements, but the faster I can get this cranked out the faster I can put it up and generate some more hype for the release. Obviously, the game is a little limited, so it was hard to make an absolutely breathtaking trailer, but with what we have I'm actually quite pleased with it. It shows off the gameplay, story, and general vibe in a nice and condensed video.

About 50% of the achievements are in now. Honestly, have the battle was just getting steam integrated in the first place. Otherwise, achievements such as 'beat the level' don't really take much time to implement. Playtesting is a little strange, as I hadn't really known what to expect with how to integrate with Steam, but it's a lot more intuitive than I would have anticipated. At this rate, I'll have everything finished quickly and ready for review.

One of the hardest parts about this is the playtesting. Simple ones like "beat the game in 15 minutes" requires beating it in fifteen minutes, then not beating it in 15, then beating it in various ways by dying or going to the menu or beating the whole game then restarting. I really want to make sure these work properly, so it's a lot of testing. Fortunately, I was able to get the rest cranked out and got the whole thing ready for review. Now we just wait with Steam.
