Dev Diary - 3 Apr
Work continues a bit slowly on the cutscenes. Unfortunately, animation isn't exactly my strongest suit, so I've been spending a particularly long time just trying to get one thing to move one way. I believe once this is done there won't be anything even half has nuanced, so speed will pick up dramatically.
Fortunately, I'm almost satisfied with it enough to move on. It's not gorgeous but with such a limited time timetable, and frankly limited animation skill in the first place, I think it's good enough. It gets the point across in a game that otherwise doesn't really focus on cutscenes anyway, so I don't think the player would want to sit around staring at individual interactions anyway.
I also don't really want to show screenshots because I've been avoiding showing off all the cool things that the players can experience, so you'll just have to wait till release day!
